What is the Arizona Worm Farm?

Besides the obvious name, Arizona Worm Farm is a 10-acre urban farm in Phoenix, whose mission it is to turn garbage into food. Yes, you read correctly; they are working towards a sustainable future by implementing the help of some small critters and waste by using what they call: Waste-to-Nutrient Circular Process.

What to expect:

·      Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to get those hands dirty!

·      Exploring and touring the Arizona Worm Farm learning more about their vision and what sustainability will look like in the future.

·      Learn about and meet some of the creepy crawlies like the Red Wiggler Worms and Black Soldier Flies, which contribute to the process in a major way.

·      Lastly, with all our adventures, be prepared to have fun in the great outdoors!
